Brook Hill Farm
***Rehabilitation Showcase***
Most of the horses donated to Brook Hill Farm begin their stay in our rehab program. They are evaluated by many professionals including a veterinarian, a chiropractor, an acupuncturist, a massage therapist, and a farrier. The staff and trained volunteers then work together to make a plan for each horse based on their individual needs.
Due to the quality of our horses and the fact that we give them away for free (according to the rules set forth by Brook Hill Farm), we have a waiting list for their adoption.

Darcy
Age: 16
Polish Arab
Height: 15.1 Hands
- Previous training: Trail Horse
- Current Condition: Excellent
- Rehab Program: Darcy has been put back into work to increase his fitness level, and find him a home!
- Prognosis: Excellent
- Possible Jobs: Darcy does not like to jump. He has lovely flat work and enjoys riding out in the field
Sherman
Age: 9
Quarter Horse
Height: 15.3 Hands
- Previous training: Dressage
- Current Condition: Good
- Rehab Program: Sherman had mechanical laminitis - he is in need of consistant farrior work.
- Prognosis: Full Recovery
- Possible Jobs: Sherman is wonderful, we believe that he could do just about anything.
Punch
Age: 10
Thoroughbred
Height: 17.2 Hands
- Previous training: Training Level Dressage/Entry Level Eventing
- Current Condition: Good
- Rehab Program: Punch has a history of many health issues, but through it all she has remained sweet and easy to work with. At this point she is currently sound in light work.
- Prognosis: Good
- Possible Jobs: would make a wonderful horse for someone with experience who likes to "play" - she is truely magnificent.
Dan
Age: Older Teens
Thoroughbred
Height: 15.3 Hands
- Previous training: Lesson Program / Pleasure
- Current Condition:Excellent
- Rehab Program: Dan has been put back into work to increase his fitness level, and find him a home!
- Prognosis: Excellent
- Possible Jobs: Dan needs to be ridden in a group - he has a history of bad behavior when ridden alone. He does better in a structured program. Hi has confidence issues when working on his own or outside the ring
Sully
Age: 14
Thoroughbred
Height: 16.2 Hands
- Previous training: Show Hunter
- Current Condition: Excellent
- Rehab Program: Sully has been out of work since May. He is being brought back slowly and is currently sound
- Prognosis: Excellent
- Possible Jobs: He can return to his "hunter" job
