Brook Hill Farm is a place for horses to begin their retirement. Many older horses, while unable to perform to the standards held by their younger counterparts, may be able to become teachers to young children or help handicapped children experience the joy of horses. Horses are domesticated creatures that thrive when given a purpose. Lame horses can become companions to other horses while serviceably sound horses can often do light work. Brook Hill Farm provides a place for these horses to transition into the next phase of their life.
